Ethernet access control system OSDP controller EWE4

Key features:

Description

OSDP Controller EWE4 is an Ethernet access system controller which has ability to control 4 doors with one-sided access control or 2 doors with two-sided access control and any combination of type of doors is possible. Controller can continuously monitor inputs like exit button, evacuation button, main evacuation button, magnetic detector for state of door. Every controller additionally can monitor 4 inputs, e.q. AC voltage loss at power supply unit, DC voltage loss at output of power supply unit, battery failure, tamper detection.

Its advanced capabilities support advanced sluice logic in offline mode.

The controller supports NODER MD-RNODER MDK-R proximity readers connected via native RS-485 protocol and NODER MD-W readers connected via wiegand protocol, or any readers supporting  wiegand protocol or encrypted OSDP v2 protocol, as well as up to four control modules NODER IO16RS

The controller is a standalone IP based device that can be used as an IoT device for many purposes. Controller provides firmware remote upgrade.

faq

Yes, you can. You can connect any 3rd party readers to EWE4 controller. You can use for it:

  • Wiegand protocol
  • OSDP v2 protocol

Yes, you can. You can connect up to 4 readers regardless of protocol.

So e.q. you can connect 2 Wiegand and 2 OSDPv2 readers simultaneously.

Yes, you can. You can do this on several ways:

  • Auth by card (or mobile credential) and PIN on one reader;
  • Auth by card (or mobile credential) on first reader and PIN on another reader;
  • Auth by card (or mobile credential) or PIN and by second user o the same reader;
  • Auth by card (or mobile credential) or PIN and by system operator;

Authentication is possible by other type of reader like biometric, QR, barcode, face and licence plate.

Yes, you can. You have the ability to remotely disconnect or remotely turn off power to the readers connected to the 12V output.

Yes, you can. You can connect proximity, barcode, QR code and biometric readers simultaneously to a single NODER EWE4 controller. You can also connect different RFID readers such as Unique, MIFARE, MIFARE DESFire, etc.

Yes it is. You can design and enable a firewall that allows connection from allow IP addresses only. If this is not sufficient, you can secure the connection by enabling SSH tunnel connection.
