Time and attendance terminal RCP-1
The RCP-1 reader features a 10″ touchscreen and built-in MIFARE DESFire card reader that corresponds fully to the functionality of the NODER MD-R reader, and is equipped with a clock, date stamp, touch-sensitive buttons to select the type of entry or exit registration and LED signaling. The terminal also has a switchable interface language.
MIFARE DESFire is an upgraded technology from MIFARE Classic by NXP, (read more about NXP) with better secured transmission between the reader and transponder. Individual keys are generated for each access control system to encrypt the reader-card and reader-mobile application transmission, to ensure maximum security of the access control system by making it impossible to swap the end device, which is the access control reader or RFID card.
The RCP-1 reader features NFC credential reading along with the ability to replace the standard RFID DESFire card with the NODER Mobile Access application, available from the Google Play store for compatible Android devices. The app allows the user of the control system to be identified additionally by applying a smartphone to the access control reader.
